Will a Rosewill 500W PSU be able to power the following:

i7 4770k CPU
Gigabyte DS3H-Z87 motherboard
WD 1TB HDD
8GB Corsair Vengeance

I won't buy a gpu until I get a higher rated psu.

Can I run those components on a 500w psu? Pc part picker says my combined total wattage is 173W.

Thanks for reading.

The Rosewill 500 will power what you have easily, you power your whole system off a cheap 350w for that matter, but what really matters is the gpu. If you are looking at a gtx 770 or less, then spend the extra $ and get Antec 620w semi-modular HCG. On sale usually for @ $60. Then you wo.t have to upgrade psu. It'll also be plenty for any OC plus full case fans. It'll be money well spent instead of wasted. For a gtx 780ti/r9 290x or slightly below, I'd go for the 750HCGm, usually on sale @$80. Either way, unless the Rosewill is free, you'll save money.

No I've only had it for about 6 Months now. I will get a Corsair cm750 when I get my graphics card.

I just wanted to know if the Rosewill will last a few months until I upgrade.

Thanks for the response. I will upgrade to a good psu in the near future, I just wanted to know if I could use my current psu at the moment so I could save a little bit of money.

Is that a corsair RM or CX or CS 750, because honestly the cx is the best of the three, and that's not saying much. The RM 750 is a disaster waiting to happen. It has extremely bad thermals, and uses the industries absolute worst capacitors. It's a known problem with the 750. TX, HX and HX are Corsairs best series, even VX if you can find one.
