OK so apparently my motherboard came with 2 PCI slots, which is unusual, since PCI was made in the early 90s, and this board is from 2013.
It does have one PCI express x16 slot, which I will use for a graphics card.
What do I do with the 2 PCI slots? What kind of things can I add? Do modern hardware even use them anymore? Unfortunately this board does not have pcie x1, so can't use that.

You can use that to attach Sound Cards, Wireless/LAN Devices, Tuners, etc. Yep, It's kind of old but sometimes it is useful. Better to look for another MOBO with PCIe.
