I have a pretty high-end system and the monitor is good for gaming except the refresh rate is only 60 Hz. It's a LG 21.5 in. 1080p 60 Hz monitor but I'm looking for a monitor that has at least a; 120 Hz refresh rate or better, has to be 21.5 in (preferably larger), and has to have 1080p reolution. There's a large market for monitors out there and I would be very grateful to anyone who could point out the best monitor for gaming that meets or exceeds my requirements.

P.S. I have been experiencing a lot of screen-tearing in some of my games, since they were usually running at 60+ fps, and it has been severely hindering the visual quality of my games.

Although maybe not the "best" here is an interesting 120Hz option:

It is a MVA panel, which has great viewing angles and often has deep blacks. The monitor does not support G-sync. However, it has a kind of backlight flicker/strobe feature that will give you motion a lot closer to a CRT-- it gets rid of a lot of the LCD blurring LCD monitors have.

G-sync is a different feature that helps smooth out the framerates in games. If the framerates change drastically, G-sync helps these drastic changes feel much smoother. It doesn't give you extra FPS, just makes low FPS feel smoother; it might help you out in twitch gaming. The only way to get a G-sync monitor is on a TN panel ... actually, as of right now, this *might* be the only one available with G-sync:

Thanks for the info., but the price might be a little too steep for me. I think I actually just found the perfect monitor for my budget; it's a 24-Inch 144 Hz 1980x1024 ASUS monitor. It's only $275 on Amazon right now, I'm open to any other suggestions though.
