I have an AMD FX-8350 CPU in the Gigabyte 970-D3P motherboard with 2 Kits of G.Skills DDR3-1600 memory 2 kits of 8 GB in the BIOS it shows my memory Frequency at 1600 but AMD overdrive only shows each stick at 803MHZ any clues on why or a fix for this issue? or is that how its suppose to be.

It is showing the correct MHz. 2 x 803 = 1606MHz

Dual channel.

The Bios shows 1600MHZ but AMD Overdrive is saying each channel is running at 803.7MHZ Capacity is 16384 Running in dual Channel. So if im understanding this right you are saying because its dual channel memory each Chip will run at 803 mhz and together they produce 1600mhz?

No, the TRUE freq of the chip is 800, but these are DDR (DOUBLE data rate) so each is running at DOUBLE the true frue freq or 800x2=1600 effective....also as DRAM is a 64bit device, when in dual channel it is seen by the MC (memory controller) as a single 128 bit device so it operates even a bit faster, in dual channel one can see up to a 10-15% gain performance wise over a single stick (single channel mode)
