Any more than 1866 for an A8-6600k?

I am just about to order the components for my little ITX build, but the one thing I can not figure out is whether there is any benefit to performance with the ram over 1866. I have read not to use 1600 or it will slow the system down. Is there any reason not to order 2400 since there is no real cost difference?

Thank you in advance!

The A10's have a much faster integrated graphics. The 6790 is a little better than the 5800k. The 5800k's processing power is about equal to the 6600k, but like I said, it has much stronger video performance.

It's hard to say. Like I said, the 6600k only (officially)supports up to 1866mhz, but I know for sure that you can overclock 1866mhz to 2133 and see benefits. 2400mhz RAM will run at 1866mhz by default, but you could "overclock" it back up to 2400mhz and it SHOULD work, but I cannot guarantee it.

Can you enlighten me on the benefit to upgrading to the A10-5800k/6790k? This build has been the most confusing one yet. It has been about 5 years since my last build, and so much has changed. I really couldn't get a handle on the A8 vs. A10.
