Need a good cheap upgrade for my Phenom II X4 965

This CPU is 5 years old now and performs pretty badly in WoW. What is the best cheapest upgrade I can get so I can get more fps in WoW?

I'm looking at either an i3 4130 with some dirt cheap h81 board

or an fx6300

but I don't think the fx6300 will improve my fps in wow at all and it's weaker than the i3

my current mobo is an asrock 970de3 so I can't overclock my phenom or an fx6300 if I get one

I can't afford to buy an i5, they are too expensive here in australia

a pentium would be even worse than my phenom wouldn't it? plus an fx6300 will be a lot slower than an i3 in WoW cos wow don't use more than 3 cores. it actually only uses 2 cores with a 3rd core getting used a little bit IIRC

thats why I dont want an fx6300

I don't care how low end is the mobo... as long as it supports the i3, usb 2.0, pcie2.0 and a 7200rpm hard drive it's good enough for me... and like I said before the whole reason I'm buying an i3 and a h81 is because I can't afford an i5... which means I can't afford a z87 board. I just want to know if the i3 will be a good upgrade over my phenom for WoW performance

I dont care about overclocking. an h81 would still let me upgrade to an i5 4570 later wouldnt it?
