I just tightened everything up on my new machine and now I'm having trouble setting it up. I can get to BIOS etc, but it was not recognizing the new hardware. I reformatted windows but when I tried to load the OS it says this hardware is not licensed with this product, please call the warranty people.

Heres my specs.

MSI 970-g46a mobo
FX 6350 6 core
AMD 7850 video card
600w psu
seagate 750g hd
windows vista home premium 64bit (off of my old PC)

so I had an older pc when vista was new. I started slowly upgrading it for Titanfall, then I decided to start a budget build for better graphics and ended up where I am. The only thing I have not replaced from the original computer is my hard drive and OS. I dont want to nuke my hard drive and start over because I have pictures and videos of my daughter that are irreplaceable.

any way of fixing it? it just boots straight to unlicensed hardware and makes the comp shut off.

should I just pull the trigger on a SSD and have windows 7 loaded on it and boot the PC on ?

So I need to get a new HDD if I dont want to erase my old on? I cant even get anywhere to reinstall. It just tells me I must license my hardware and shuts off. How can I get around that and reinstall windows?
