when i conect it with my laptop via an external sata enclousere it shows that format is required , i didnot want to fromat it as i will lose my data . please help my in recovering my data.
and i want to ask one more thing if i will format it did my hard disk will be ok .when i check its properties it shows 0 bytes available is there any way to save my hard disk by any mean even if i lose my data . i want back my hard disk. please help

Very likely the format won't work anyway even if you weren't bothered about the data, because the drive is now unusable. You should not have relied on one hard drive, your data needs to be on at least two drives so you have a backup.

I've been there, done the same thing as you (no backups). Then the drive failed. Not a good feeling.
Now I save my data on four external hard drives so data loss does not hit me again.

You can almost never recover a faulty HDD by yourself. There are companies who can, but that's going to cost you money, probably more than a new harddrive. If the data on it is very important to you, you can consider sending it to a hard drive recovery service.
