So here's my problem,
I am getting Sapphire R9 290 and Zotac Gtx 770 at the exact same price in my city.I dunno what to do as the non-reference cards will not be available in my small city and also cost alot more when I see their prices online.
I have heard that R9 290 runs very hot and loud and on the other hand the gtx 770 is cool and quiet so I can't really decide between the two.
I want to plat WATCH DOGS on Ultra which required gtx 780 for ultra which means r9 290 on and side so im thinking of r9 290.
Will it be any problem?

The r9 290 is comparable to an 780 or an 780ti in some cases. It outperforms the 770. But id say it is a bit overkill for 1080p. The 770 is good enough for 1080p. The 290 is better for higher resolutions like 1440p. But since you can only get a reference model ofthe two id stay away from the 290 since it is really hot. But i know that it bugs you, since its the same price. What would a non reference model of the 290 cost you in your country? Because an non reference one like from gigabyte would be sweet. It also would be really future proof for a couple of years, and it will add u an option of adding another montor for higher res gaming. And you will ofcourse have much better performance. Try finding or getting an non reference though...
