I'm having problems with my laptop backlight.. Its a Dell inspiron n5010 1gb amd 4650, i5 processor, 4gb ram..
The backlight goes off when I'm trying to play games, or to say anything that puts heavy pressure on grahic card.. If I exit the game the backlight would turn back on.. sometimes not.. if its shutdown with backlight off, next time it boots with dark screen even in bios.. Unless I boot it with lcd test d+power. Also backlight can fail when i play a game even at cool temperatures like when I first boot in the day..
Also if connected to external monitor screen would be perfectly fine there..
Checked for loose lcd cable connections or cracks in it.. it seems perfectly fine.. It ran for the whole winters perfectly without failing once.. problem had occured before that and now again..
Although I can still go days without a backlight failure I just watch movies and do other, just not play games.
