Hey there...should be able to see my setup in my signature. I'm trying to figure out how I could improve my performance in games [and if it's just the game's that are the problem], and also wondering if I should overclock..

I called up EVGA to talk to somebody about the stability of clock speed OC, and the guy I spoke with also said that overclocking multiple components would affect the stability of some OCs. IE: My cpu is at 4.5 ghz, so my gpus might not be able to make it past 1200mhz boost, and be stable.

Any help is appreciated.

Typically gpu and cpu overclocks don't affect each other greatly. cpu overclocks do usually affect ram overclock though.

1200 boost on a gtx 780 is nothing to skoff at. The best of them make it to maybe 1250 on air with stock bios.

typically overclocking the cpu in the simplest way (say just adjusting voltage and core multiplier and a few other settings) then oc'ing your gpu will yeild the best results. RAM overclocking past 1600mhz doesnt really give you much for gaming
