i played a game where you started with a character and you could explore the main city(i think it was a japan based arhitecture of the city), do some trades between other cities or just make quests. it had decent graphics(if i remember right the buildings were aswome). i think i played the game between 2000-2004(i don't know for sure).
as you did kill monsters or made trades you get levels up in that specific area(trade,fight and was one more tab but i don't remember the name).
it was a great game and i want to play again. anyone that can remember similar games please post here and maybe i will find what i need. the game was offline. the main city had the road made of wood trunks. i remember after making a lot of levels you had the option to travel to another area using some sort of portal.the characters are european style, only the buildings are from japan. The city was like an old fortress.
