hi i have a custom built pc with an old graphics card its a nvidia 8600gt would a
EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 PCI-E Graphics Card - 2 GB be a good upgrade

i would suggest to get something on the same medium level graphics area (750 ti, 760, radeon 260, 260x etc) the 640 is still better compared to the 8600gt but it's an entry level card, you'll need to upgrade it again soon to get playable fps in modern games soon even on lowest graphics.
