i was playing counter strike 1.6 in my computer which has windows 8. it was working properly only.. but one day lastweek suddenly my system updated automatically. and now when i opened the game its not opening. i also tryied the compactibility settings. it didn't open and i reinstalled again i doesnt open still. please fix this. i want to play it again in win 8 as i did before..

Well the two obvious ideas are 1.) Verify Integrity of Cache and 2.) uninstall/reinstall the game.
