i connected my pc to my HDTV with a hdmi cable ,but it just wont show even the simplest graphics like screen savers, and when i try to play movies in it ,it just gets pixalated ! and it keeps on strucking! and i cant play a single game on it!
and on screen saver window it shows this "THE SCREEN SAVER WONT RUN BECAUSE IT NEEDS A NEWER VIDEO CARD OR ONE THATS COMPATIBLE WITH DIRECT3D"

PC config: processor:intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3220 CPU @3.30GHz 3.30GHz
RAM: 4GB
system type: 64-BIT operating system
i guess it has intel's internal graphic card.

Go to start menu type run and write dxdiag, than go to the Display tab and tell me what is written in Name and Chip type. Either the integrated card cannot support both the screens at the same time or it's drivers are out of date.
