Would my Seasonic M12II 520W be compatible with an Intel i5-4670K? I've read some articles saying that Haswell requires a specific type of PSU.

I've seen other build rigs with the same PSU and the same CPU. No mention of trouble. I'm very much confused and I have no other options since I already order the parts. I'm not familiar with the C6/C7 disabling on BIOS. If it helps my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA Z87-D3HP. Any solution or recommendation would be appreciated!

Typically the only problem people have with the non-compatible PSUs, is the computer does not "wake" from sleep/hibernate mode properly.

Solution = either disable sleep from your windows control panel in power saving options, turn of the "C" states in BIOS (to disable sleep), or turn your computer off when you aren't using it.

You may have to do some research, but I'm guessing you can make it work.

That is one of the most easiest solutions I've also thought about. Regarding the BIOS solution, I try to read more as I already have the parts by next week and will start to build it. Thanks

The BIOS is not hard to work with. When computer starts up you press "DEL" key. Fumble around untill you find the "C" states, and disable them. Gigabyte is pretty good and they include a short narrative with each item so you know what you are disabling. Disabling the power savings options will not hurt anything.

You will figure it out. Post back if you have trouble.
