Building My First Micro ATX Computer

Hey guys I just finished picking the parts out for my micro ATX computer, wondered if there will be any problems down the road with these parts. Computer totals out at $418.20, is this a good computer for that price? What do you guys think!

this is a little more expensive, but it has Kaveri apu, which is a great step-up from richland and trinity, and the ram is really fast for the apu :D

well for 1 i would never build a micro amd as im sure many other wouldn't. What are you using it for?

ok, first of all, there is nothing wrong with an amd based micro atx build, why would there be? and that A-10 i posted has an integrated R7 graphics gpu, so it will play most games on medium settings.

I'm building it for a family member, mostly heavy Microsoft Office and watching YouTube videos.

I'm trying to make this computer around a console size (bigger if need be), but would a mini ITX desktop case be better for this? I can't make up my mind :L sorry. Another question how can I tell if a power supply is going to fit in a case with everything else?

yeah, it will be perfectly fine with microsoft office and 1080p youtube videos. if you dont plan on gaming in the future, you could save around $75 if you want.

I'd recommend Danbuscus25 build. for the minimal price increase it will be much more capable.

and a standard atx psu will fir in a micro atx and a mini itx case.

you could drop the A-10 to an A-6 and drop the mobo to a cheaper one.
