Hello,
I just did an NVIDIA Update through the GeForce Experience program. Halfway through the update, my computer stopped putting out a display signal. I thought it might be rebooting, so I waited. I waited about 20 minutes before just restarting it, thinking it was some glitch. There is still no display. I have tried connecting the HDMI to the Motherboard slot, but that also does not work. I really need to get on my computer right now to do something.

I have a GTX 770 SuperClocked.

Please Help!

Thanks.

I can't since the display does not turn on at all to tell me what button to press to boot in safe mode. I am still getting the normal beep when it turns on though, and I can hear the fans running like normal, there is just no picture.

Is this an AMD or Intel Build?

If AMD, pull the card and try to boot. Let your system run for ~5 min. Turn off the computer, put the card back in.

If Intel and your CPU has an onboard GPU (intel HD graphics xxxx) Pull the card and plug your monitor into your motherboard. Uninstall current drivers, put the card back in. Reinstall new drivers.

It's an Intel build. 4770k, graphics on board. I am going to try that and hopefully not shock myself or anything in the case.

Just make sure your computer is unplugged, and touch the power supply or chassis to discharge static before touching anything else.

Don't pull anything out or put anything in while the computer is on. He just meant after 5 minutes, turn it off and then put the card in.

UPDATE: After hitting the reset button on my case about 10 times to no avail, on the 11th or so time, the computer did boot up normally with the display. It said that a recent hardware or software change caused Windows to crash or prevented Windows from starting or something like that. I did not boot in safe mode just to see if it would work. It does now boot up, but the machine is running at a pretty sluggish pace.

Thanks for the help!

Uninstall everything related to Nvidia / Gefore Experience. Then run Display Driver uninstaller just to be safe. Then install the latest nvidia drivers.

Sounds good. Now that I think of it, this morning when I turned on the computer, it was doing some sort of Windows update (Windows 7) It took about 45 minutes and failed at the end after rebooting itself a few times. It has been trying this update for the past few days and fails every time. I wonder if this has something to do with it.
