Hi i have started getting the above message since I changed my router. This appears when I click on the internet icon, bottom right screen. It shows a bench as a symbol. My own router is also shown with a house as a symbol.
1 is this a security risk?
2 is someone else able to access or view my computer when I am on line?
3 is there a remedy or is it better seeking professional assistance?

Any comments would be appreciated.

thanks

Unidentified netowk means that the router does not have a name configured for the network..

The home icon means your system has recognized the connection as a home connection and gave it the permissions as such. A bench would be public so it tightens security a little more.

No one can hack your network easier because of either circumstance. Now with the home icon it is allowing other computers connected to your router to see it, access any files you shared and any streaming services (like windows media player).
