Can you guys give me a run down of this set up and give me an idea of upgrades you would consider essential. Thanks a bunch.

Well, you're crippling things from the start.

SATA II only. Fine, until you want to use an SSD next year.
Buying parts you know you'll have to replace. PSU and GPU.

Depending on what you're using it for...it will 'work'. But it is very limited.

Hi, and thanks for the quick response. The entire rig is £379.99. It seems cheap for what it "appears" to be and so im hesitant.

The PSU hasnt a brand name thats mentioned, so I suspect its not a leading brand.

So we're looking at upgrading the PSU, possibly the ram (hopefully not). Im anticipating the cost of an OS anyway so thats not a bother. I suspect ill have to upgrade the card for high end gaming also. I guess the question is, is it a decent value for money rig suitable for building in when I have extra disposable income in the future
