Hi there!
I've got a Windows 7 Pro homebuilt computer. I've got a Windows Phone 8.1 Lumia 820 device and I'm a developer. My SSD only features 128GB of storage, not enough for a dual-boot environment. Booting from my HDD will be reaally slow compared to my SSD with much worse performance.
I was looking into upgrading to Windows 8.1 Update 1 but I wanted to know if you guys recommend it?
I've got some questions:
-Do you recommend it?
-How do I update? I got a Windows 8 64-bit Pro ISO from the upgrade assistant on my PC.
-Can I enable aero with tweaking? If so, is it stable?
-What other ups and downs are there?
My uses of the PC:
-Development - games & apps for mobile and desktop
-Virtually booting OS X Mavericks
-Everyday tasks
-Gaming
I'm extremely tech-interested
