Hey guys.So listen i have this problem for a long time and i really dont know what the problem is.So ive got a not so good pc but good enought to run more casual games like LoL,PES,Dota2 etc smoothly. But there is a problem i have in literally EVERY game.So when i start my pc or playing smth everything is going smoothly.Im playning League of legends on low settings with the fps jumping between 50-100 and its very smooth. But then suddently the fps will drop start dropping down to 20-30 and after some time it will just drop to 10 and lower and stay like thet. This happens in every game and it occurs at random times.Sometimes it will be after 2-3 hours of gaming sometimes it will happen just as im 10 mins in game..Ive tried everything in settings and its just not that.
Althought after i restart or put my pc to sleep for a moment then activate it again the lag will be gone.If anyone can help me with this i'd appreciate this. (Also can the fact that i've got little free space on my HDD be the problem? )

My pc specs:
Intel pentium D 925 3.0 GHZ
GT 620
2GB ram (DDR2)

There's two likely answers here.

1. You PC is overheating, download HWMonitor to keep an eye on your temps.

2. You don't have enough RAM. Games gradually occupy more and more RAM up to a certain point. If you don't have enough RAM for that, the game will slow down after a while.

it's probably throttling on your GPU. I'm not familiar with the 620 at all.. but if your case is not well ventilated and the GPU is running 100% nonstop, it could easily be hitting its threshold for temp.

download hardware monitor and check the temps and increase the fan speed.

also, turn on Vsync!!!! if you have a normal monitor, it's 60hz. there's no reason to have your GPU creating 100fps when your monitor can only display 60 of them.. it will keep it runnning cooler
