ok this shit is happening to all the games. bioshock infinite when i played earlier was good but i opened the game again to test it and there is no anti aliasing in it now.the anti aliasing setting in the nvidia control panel is greyed out both in global settings and in program settings in every game

But the pic is still appears jaggy in areas like there is no aa on. Zooming in and I can see it's not aaing in some areas. Some post processing could be interfering. You don't have any color or graphics settings in ncp that are overriding? Any other software that could interfere?

But this is strange, whenever i turn up the AA settings either in ncp in some instances or in games the AA quality is increasing, not by a lot but increasing. So that must mean the graphic drivers and the games are not at fault. So is the OS(win 7 home basic) the culprit here.Is it direct x .Will reinstalling the OS solve anything.

I personally think that's how good it's going to get. the jagged edges you're seeing is because the line can only be so thin at a given resolution. If you have a 1440p or 4K monitor then it's another thing. But the fence, gun, smoke, plane and other things do look pretty nice.
