Hey guys, im going to buy an Asus R9 280X DCII TOP tomorrow, but i can't decide between XFX PRO 650W CORE EDITION or an AEROCOOL STRIKE X 600W 80 PLUS, and i can buy the CORSAIR VS SERIES VS650W.
I have a I5-4570, 8gb ddr3 1600mhz, asus h87-pro, 3 fans (2 with leds) and front case leds (i have the aerocool strike-x xtreme black case), 1 hdd and 1 dvd-rom.
I want to overclock my GPU. I know 550w its probably enough, as my system at full load would be using 350-450w, the problemm is that i heard that aerocool is a bad psu brand, at least the 600w one, and the xfx 550w does not support haswell! So i need to disable some c-states. The corsair i dont know if its a good choice, because the vs series isnt optimal for gaming? I get all at the same price (corsair 2 euros cheaper)
What should i choose? Thanks a lot guys.

But it isnt supported by haswell... and are you sure it will handle my system with gpu nicely overclocked? I said it would use 350-450w cause i saw it on a review but im not sure... And is 550w future proof?

If they are all about the same price the xfx is the easy choice. The corsair isn't horrible but the aerocool is not a good psu.

The added Haswell c states are usually disabled by default on most desktop boards.

So between the XFX 550w and corsair 650w for my system gpu overclocked both are enought?
