Hi all
so im thinking of picking up a new monitor. just wondering about 2 things,
is a 1440p monitor worth the money? how much does a cheap one cost?

will my rig handle 1440p settings? if so, what settings will i get in big AAA titles?

i5 4430 3.0ghz
h87 hd3 motherboard
8gb corsair vengence
eva gtx 760 sc w/acx cooling

thank you

1440p is great but with your rig it will be a bit hursh! especially 2gb vram may not be sufficient for some upcoming titles or even on some current ones on higher-max settings.if though, a new gpu will be in your plans in the near future then i guess 1440p can be an option!

Anything above outdated 1080p is better and yes higher resolution is certainly worth the money if you have it. Even better is 2560 x 1600 Ive been gaming on for over 3 years. About to move to 4K when the prices come down some more.

Cheapest monitor with good specs and quality costs 450 pounds :(
