So I was just playing BF4, playing at a smooth 55 FPS and never drop below 35. I played a couple of match, no problems at all. When 1 match is finished, the next match starts, every thing still running smooth, suddenly i get a frame drop from around 50 to 18 FPS, i was confused, i thought my GPU is overheating (which i never experience before). I check my GPU temp it was around 60 degrees and 68 at max (GPU-Z). First i don't know what's happening, as always if i have a problem about lag, I open task manager to see what app is slowing down my PC. When i open it says 98% Memory usage (and 99% Disk, i don't know if that's a factor too, because after i close the game it doesn't go that high). This is the screen shot when the game is running ( https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/100257445638519743634/albums/6005238256817697809/6005238257874699250?pid=6005238257874699250&oid=100257445638519743634 ) and here is when the game is not running ( https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/100257445638519743634/albums/6005237478836153201/6005237484922825474?pid=6005237484922825474&oid=100257445638519743634 ). I never have this problem before, I had this game since 2 days after it was released, and have been playing it with out problems (well a few problems, but i managed to fix it). I have 8gb of RAM, and i know it's more than enough for gaming. Some people say, my memory usage goes back to normal, after i restart the PC (it worked), but why is it so high at the first place?
I'm running Windows 8.1, and everything is up-to-date (including my GPU drivers).
Why is my memory usage so high? How can this be fixed?
Extra question: why is most of my programs is 32-bit, when I'm running a 64-bit OS?
