how to upadte BIOS

so I was wondering how to update bios because I have no idea... I tried to use @bios and now I have the bios version FD whats for a different motherboard??? o_O now that's weird right??? so I have downloaded ( http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3901#bios ) I downloaded the F13 and i get a zip file and when i unzip it i het three different documents!!! what do I do with them??? I want to know how to flash bios updates because @bios will only 'update' bios to FD my motherboard is GA-990XA-UD3

Download the FD BIOS then unzip it. It should be a self extracting 7zip file. You end up with 3 files. Copy the 3 files to a USB drive with nothing else on the drive. The USB drive must be formatted in FAT32 which they normally come formatted in when purchased. Boot into BIOS with the USB drive installed in a USB 2.0 port just to be safe. Choose the correct options for Q-Flash and follow instructions. The USB drive will show up as a HDD. Choose that and load the file. Cannot remember which file but if you pick the wrong one out of the three a window will pop up and say it cannot be loaded. Try another file till you get the right one and load the new BIOS. Like I said earlier, read and follow the instructions. After once or twice it will seem simple.
