Yup. Looking for a little upgrade from my crappy AMD HD 7670 to something else, main ussue is that the card has to be non-UEFI designated.
In an earlier forum post, I got a EVGA 750 SC, which didn't work on my mobo :I so now I'm looking for something that will work..
Thanks for the help! ^^

Most new GPUs have both a BIOS OPROM and UEFI OPROM. The appropriate one will be loaded first. I'm not aware of any modern GPUs being incompatible with legacy BIOS firmware. If the card didn't work, it may very well have been a dud.

Agreed.
There are no issues I'm aware of with UEFI-compatible cards in non-UEFI boards. You need to revisit your troubleshooting with people who can actually help you.

What did EVGA say?

There's no point in randomly recommending cards if we can't find out the definite cause of the GTX750 failure.

Here's what EVGA support said about it:
Good afternoon. It sounds like you may need a newer bios for this video card to be seen by the motherboard properly. You may want to contact hp at this point to see if they can assist you in getting a bios to work with these newer cards, if you are unable to. This card will not be able to work in this system unfortunately. Let us know if you have further questions, we are available 24/7.

I've also had HP support tell me this:

I have no suggestions on how to get the EVGA GTX 750 to work in a HP PC that has a legacy version 7 bios (non-UEFI).

I do have one suggestion: Contact EVGA and ask for a remendy other than replacing the motherboard or buying a new PC. Don't expect HP to provide a version 8 UEFI BIOS update for your PC. HP didn't start producing UEFI BIOS consumer desktop PCs until the middle of October 2012.

You might try Sapphire as they offer both NVIDIA and AMD graphics that are designated UEFI and those that are not designated UEFI. You need a card that is non-UEFI designated.

Seeing as EVGA once designed a graphics card that wouldn't fit inside of their own motherboards I wouldn't be extremely surprised if they designed a graphics card that wouldn't work on motherboards manufactured more than 2 years ago. Return that GPU and get an equivalent product from Gigabyte or Asus.
