Graphics Settings for low bandwidth

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to optimize the settings a little on my games for my laptop. I have upgraded the CPU and GPU but the memory bandwidth is a major bottleneck. I know resolutions and AA really suck up memory usage and bandwidth, but what other settings heavily use up memory bandwidth?

My GPU on several games does not hit 100% usage. So I want to try and minimize the bandwidth bottleneck as much as possible. I am running without AA, and my resolution is only 1366x768 so I prefer not to drop resolution but any other areas would be acceptable.

Laptop:
CPU: i7-3632QM
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 620m 1GB overclocked to 788Mhz core, 1050Mhz RAM.
RAM: G.Skill 2x4GB 9-9-9-28-1T 1600Mhz 1.35v
Display: 1366x768

Thanks

Well I'm in a laptop and its soldered, not lucky enough to be one removable unfortunately.

I forgot this, also unfortunate is that I actually only have a 64-bit bus. There are some versions of this GPU with a 128-bit bus but mine doesn't have it so I am limited to 14.4 GB/sec. It does pretty decent, and after the overclock I am up to 17.3 GB/sec which helps a little but its still limited.

The 1GB so far hasn't been an issue since I am locked at 1366x768 resolutions. I think it might become one on some games with AA turned on high, but the bandwidth bottlenecks me long before I have a chance to get to that point. Fortunately it uses like a very low amount of power and overclocks well at least.
