If I have a Intel Core i5-4670K which only supports DDR3-1333/1600 then is there any point on buying DDR3-1866? Even if I can get DDR3-1866 for the same price as DDR3-1600? Should I just buy DDR3-1866 because its the same price? Also between Corsair and G.Skill who should I pick? Sorry for so many questions.

You are already aware that your CPU supports DDR3-1333/1600 taking the memory speed past that is overclocking the memory controller on the CPU itself and overclocking the memory controller adds heat to the CPU.

Now if you don't have any high overclock goals say close to 5ghz, then the heat is no big deal for lower overclocks, but heat will limit how far you can overclock.

You may not have any intentions of overclocking...

Long as you motherboardcan support 1866 ram, an oyu can find it for a similar price as 1600 or 1333, get th 1866.
Both brands are awesome for ram, Corsair GSkill Avexir Kingston are all good brands.

You may not have any intentions of overclocking, but that's exactly what you are doing running your memory past 1600, now if you are fully aware that's what you'll be doing then fine!

I recommend you snag some 1600 maybe a matched 8G 2 x 4G dual channel kit, or a 16G 2 x 8G dual channel kit specifically voltage spec'd at 1.50v.

Whatever your M/B and budget supports?

Personally I prefer G-Skill over Corsair, as G-Skill has never not performed as spec'd and Corsair has dropped the ball in a couple of instances so I don't spend my money on Corsair memory anymore.

Corsair was king back when Corsair fully concentrated on their memory module performance but now that Corsair is spread so thin branching out into so many areas their memory module quality just is not there anymore.

But it's your money! :)
