ok here goes...

i have a program when installed on a computer on the network/in the office uses the server ip 55.555.55.555:8080
and a fax server of 66.666.66.666 no specific port.

before i left the office i did some port forwarding and pinholes
external ip is 77.777.77.777:8080 points to 55.555.55.555:8080 "MAIN SERVER"
and external ip 77.777.77.777:5906 points to 66.666.66.666 "FAX SERVER"

when i install it at home i specify the server ip as 77.777.77.777:8080 everything works great the program logs in remotely and i can access all my files but when i specify the ip for the fax server it fails im using 77.777.77.777:5906

is there a firewall setting or something?
any suggestions?

Solution
That depends on your router. Some routers require you to put the firewall pinholes in and the NAT forwarding separate (my router is like that, I have to do a port forward command and then I have to make sure the firewall will allow the port number to come through).
