Question on build and video card in case

Hello, I went with build per a another thread's recommendation. Parts have arrived. It doesn't look like the Sapphire R9 270X fits in the Z12 case I got???? Help?

"This is the Intel build i'd go for, i'd not get anything less than this.
I'll see about getting you an amd one that's cheaper.

  1. Dude, I think you double posted, and I made a reply over at the $500-$700 PC post.

Basically remove some drive bays for enough room. If it's truly too big, then well.
  2. sorry for the double post. The drive bays are not individually removable. Sure I could try and cut metal or something. but don't see how it fits without alteration.

Don't worry 'bout the double post.

  4. There are screws.
  5. Thanks okcnaline. think I'm screwed. no screws I can see. It's all one piece. The card fits to low to fit in the cd/dvd drive bays and it looks like I would have to cut into the HD bay... that sucks.
