Mouse freezes every 5-10 sec

I have Pentium Dual core E2200Ghz Ati HD 6450 1GB Asus low profile edition 4GB ram PSU 450watt and Asus G31MS mobo.
I am having really bad problem and it is pissing me off too much. My mouse keeps freezing every 5-10secs. And problem worsenes when I play games. Then it remain freezed for another 5-10secs before resuming again. I have connected mouse to USB port v2.0. I also have PS2 port mouse. When i plugged that mouse in that port the laser lite up but mouse wasn't working. I am quite sure that my pc is virus free. Pls help me.

the deluge of questions we need answers for to help you...

windows version? do you have the most recent updates?
do you have an antivirus/firewall? when was the last scan?
what is your cpu/ram usage sitting at in performance meter? (ctrl+alt+delete, task manager)
when did this issue first occur? have you tried the mice out on other systems to verify its your pc?

Win 7 Ultimate. I havent updated anything from past 6 months(nor i can as i dont have internet). QuickHeal Total protection 2014 Antivirus. I scan system memory frequently. Just 2 days ago i have scaned C drive also. And I m very sure there are no viruses.
Cpu usage 0-4%
Ram usage~ 878MB when on idle state. I cant remember when it started but it had happend before also when i was playing Hitman Absolution back in sep-oct 2013. But somehow the problem settled down by its own. But now it has become obnoxious. Is there any more thing u want to know? Also i dont want to format my system. N i havent tested my mice on other pcs.
