I have a custom Ethernet cable (100ft+) it seems to be much slower than my wifi for some reason I'm not sure why it is. I assembled both ends of the cord with a tool so it's not loose, this shouldn't be an issue but I'm not sure why I get less mbits.

DO you know if the cable is CAT5 or CAT5e or CAT6 it should say somewhere on the cable?

Wher do you use the cable? Betweeen PC's? The output power of the signal sources may vary a lot, depending on their nature. 100 feet is not a huge distance, both categories have an maximum segment lenght of 100 meters (328 feet) without amplifying, but the situation depends on the circumstances. Just using a tool doesn't mean automatically you did it properly and the work quality is important, especially at long distances. At least it will not do it by itself, you're the prime actor.

I used the T-58A to T-58B setup so it works. The cord is connected to this pc and a router.

If the cable is okay (perfectly assembled and not damaged in between the ends), then the power of the signal isn't enough to travel between the points. And if so, there are two more options - amp the signal (with a hub for example) or use wireless (if the the router has) with a wireless adapter on your PC.
