I have a Toshiba Satellite C655-S5200 (I know, not the best manufacturer) It shut down unexpedidly and would not turn back on. I did try all combinations of battery and a/c adapter. Still, absolutely no lights, no nothing. I bought a new battery and put it in, it totally worked! Yay, assumed the battery was the problem. But a few days later, it shut off and did the same thing it did before! Consequently, my friend used to have the same type of laptop and still had the battery. When I put in it my laptop, once again.. .It turned on and was acting completely normal. 2 days later, OFF. (yes, I did keep the battery charged with a/c)

I don't want to keep buy a new battery every couple of days. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

No, it doesn't work with only the a/c connected. But during the time that the new/different battery had it working, it would be fine plugged in, and running off of battery power only.

So on the motherboard, will it specify which is the fuse6000?
