So I just built my new PC, and sometimes when I go to boot it will startup with no display... a reset usually fixes the issue and it starts regular....
in addition after hibernation it will occasionally display a error message about a fatal error and needing to boot up from the beginning... I don't know if I should be worried about this stuff, or how I can fix it... My system specs are posted if you need more info let me know.

More about : black screen boot

Sounds like a hard drive issue is the fatal error a blue screen? Does it perform a memory dump before restarting? Try running check disk on the boot drive where the os is stored

no it isn't the blue screen it is a black screen... it doesn't show the splash screen, and it isn't the blue screen of death...

Check your drivers and make sure ur graphics card and other components are seated properly, it sounds like a driver issue, try rolling back to earlier versions, go to manufacturer websites for drivers and not installation CDs

Does it tell you what error? Look up codes to see if it tells you what went wrong, I know it happens intermittently but maybe try booting with just one stick of ram
