I have an ASRock Fatality 990 FX Killer Motherboard and WD My Passport Ultra 2 TB USB 3 HDD. When it is connected via USB 3 my mouse pointer in USB 3 starts lagging. It occurs to any USB 3 drives are connected. But now corruption occurs in large files as sometimes copying stops or programs stop working .etc but it will be solved once the drive is plugged again. I also odered a USB 3 PCI Expansion card as someone here told my USB 3 controller is not good. Will that so, ve my issue ? Thanks. I previously RMAed my drive for this same issue.
