hi everyone,

I wanted to buy Sapphire r9 270x toxic for my pc , wanted to know is it compatible with my desktop as I am not planning to do any major changes other rhan ram & psu

here are my specs

cpu : i3 2100 ( 2nd gen)

mobo : dh67bl

ram : 2x2gb (4gb ) that I am going to make 8gb b4 buying the gpu

psu right now : 450w

The card requires atleast 500W PSU. you should better get a 600W PSU. As long as your motherboard have a PCI-e X16 1.1 slot, you won't have to worry about compatibility, though you sure will get better performance with a powerful CPU

You will almost certainly experience a CPU bottleneck (meaning that the slower speed of your CPU will affect your overall system's performance) but there should be a substantial difference in performance compared to now.

I would definitely invest in a quality PSU to ensure the card gets as much power as it needs also.
