Hello All.

I have a G-speed es
Link Here: (http://www.g-technology.com/products/g-speed-es)

I am having trouble reading all 4 disks on the G-speed. I thought the external eSata port on the motherboard had Port Multiplier Tech. Can anyone confirm this?

Also I have a esata card with port multiplier here with me now, do you think if placed this inside the system it would show all 4.

The G-speed is 12 TB. In disk management it shows one disk and i dont want to import foreign disks yet as it will delete data off the other 3 disks.

Any thoughts.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: The board also has a SAS card and a Sonnet Qio Bus extender inside the system.

Hi firespasm,

ASROCK Z77 EXTREME 4-M mainly has 2 SATA controllers the Intel Z77 and ASMedia ASM1061.
2 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors by Intel® Z77,
2 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors by ASMedia ASM1061(SATA3_A1 connector is shared with eSATA3 port)
While the Intel controller has no port multiplication support, the ASM1061 specifications states it does support port multiplication. http://www.asmedia.com.tw/eng/e_show_products.php?item=118

However, if you would be able to attach your eSATA card that supports port multiplication that should probably work for your G-speed es.
