Looking for the latest American Megatrends Bios for Asus laptop

Can anyone help me find the latest BIOS update from American Megatrends for the ASUS G750JW with Win8.1 64bit? Right now it is running a BIOS version (V208 9/19/2013) that is over a year old and I am concerned with some issues I have seen as of late that all lead me to believe that they may be BIOS related. Regardless of my reasoning I would be very appreciative if someone can point me to the correct bios update. When I goto American Megatrends website, the only way I seem to be able to find the bios update is to use a third party tool that they direct you to that wants to tag you with a $30 charge to use and get the latest driver / bios updates. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Oh I definitely checked with ASUS and they not only don't have a BIOS update, but they haven't updated any of the device drivers or the BIOS in over a year.

I know that from ASUS's perspective there is no updates past 208, however, I also know that American Megatrends has many updates to this BIOS. Infact, I have run a number of those Driver Search apps, and while I do not trust most of them because most of them just want money, I notice that all of them come back and say that the BIOS is way old and that there are updates to it. I'm not daring enough to purchase one of them to see what it actually points me to for a download. I know that ASUS hasn't any updates, but wouldn't you think that the American Megatrends BIOS would have updates? That's pretty much what I am looking for, I am not looking for any updates sanctioned by ASUS especially because ASUS doesn't even update the Intel Chip set drivers, and I download them all the time and update them from Intel all the time with no ill effects. Infact if anything my system has become more stable and does seem to have a bit of increased performance. IDK, I would have thought that with all the latest vulnerabilities and security risks that there would be some kind of update. I mean why else would American Megatrends constantly create updates to their BIOS (which of coarse I can never find and their site is confusing as heck! It's a wonder anyone can find anything on their site. I'm guessing my hopes are futile?

Thanks guys for the replies. Once I took the time to read a bit more about how BIOS is actually derived by the manufacturers, I realized that you guys are very right. Since the BIOS is developed based upon the hardware configurations, a BIOS that was redistributed by a company like ASUS for their particular hardware profile would be the ones to update and rerelease with any needed updates. Just taking one of the default AMIBIOS's that was not developed based on an ASUS hardware profile would likely do more harm than good. So, thank you guys, you actually helped me learn something new today. Any day you learn something new is a good day! :)

I agree with vic 40 , do not trust driver search apps , they will all tell you that they have something better than what you have untill you buy the app ,then you have spent your money and no better driver.
