USB Keyboard that works perfectly in BIOS, doesn't work as soon as Windows 7 loads. In device manager it says that "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)".

Does anyone know what driver does Windows 7 use for plug'n'play usb keyboards?
Or if you have one, just look it up in device manager.

I ended up using a USB>PS2 converter. I should probably reinstall Windows .. but ain't nobody got time for that.

But please, if you use a USB Keyboard without any fancy drivers (i.e. you use the generic Windows drivers), go to Device Manager>Keyboards>USB Keyboard>Properties>Driver>Driver Details and post that here.
