Hello. My current build is;

CPU - Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU COOLER - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler for All Intel/AMD CPU's
MOTHERBOARD - ???
MEMORY - G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
STORAGE HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
STORAGE SSD - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
VIDEO CARD - EVGA GeForce GTX 780 ACX 23

And so I was wandering on which Motherboard I should get. I currently am thinking between these two Mobo's = MSI Z87-G45-GAMING ATX Motherboard (Intel Z87, 4x DDR3, DVI, HDMI, 6x USB3.0, GBE LAN, LGA1150 Socket) ----- OR ----- Asus Maximus VI Hero C2 Motherboard (Socket 1150, Intel Z87, DDR3, S-ATA 600, ATX, 2 x PCI Express 3.0 x16, Intel I217V 1x Gigabit LAN Controller).

Any advice on this would be a massive help. Thankyou

personally, i would prefer the maximus, however it depends on the features you want and the price you will pay.

What sort of features do I miss out on if I go with the MSI Z87?? Price isn't much of a bother but always better to save these days

The Asus Hero has all kinds of OC features and is a very solid board if you want max overclock. The MSI will do fine but probably will not give you the last 200Mhz of OC that the Hero does.

well, they both have really nice overclocking features, both support sli and crossfire, usb 3.0, sata 3 6gb/s, etc. so the difference isnt much, so its more of a favorite brand, color scheme, and budget decision.

Well I guess I'll go for the MSI version as it is cheaper. Thank you for all the help and advice you gave me. Really appreciate it
