Am1 build have a problem need help!

Am1 5350
Asus Am1I-A
SuperFlower Golden Green HX 450W 80 Plus Gold
Corsair 8gb ddr3 1600mhz ram

Just finished building it, plugged in and mobo lights up green.

The GreenLight indicated Standby Power LED, The System is on, in sleep mode , or in soft-Off mode. <<< from the motherboard manual.

press power. nothing happens, wont boot... need some help i a not sure what's wrong.

I reinstalled the ram. reinstalled the power cables.

Any ideas I am at a loss on how to solve this?

I requested access to view your picture, until then I can't look at it. Did you install the front panel headers? Like the power button, reset button, etc.?

yea the front panel headers are on, I updated the image with to auto display on the forum. uploading the other images of the front connectors.

Well first things first, shouldn't that stick of RAM be installed closest to the processor? I'm not familiar with AM1, but on every other platform that's the case. Are you sure the front panel connectors are on right--like + to + and - to -?

the manual states for ram - "Ensure to insert the DIMM into DIMM_A2 socket if you install only one memory module"

Looks like you set it up correctly--one thing, does that power button header only have one wire coming out of it? There are usually two...

yes the power button header has 2 wires. I am still confused as to what may be causing this from booting, I don't know what i need to return to the shop to get it to work.

Maybe just try flipping the power button header over so that you can't read the text on it? The boards getting power, but it's not getting the signal to turn on.
