Purchase Date: May or June 2014

Usage: Gaming. Tomb Raider, Borderland 2, Watch Dogs, new Wolfenstein, Bioshock Infinite, and League of Legends. Possible streaming in the future as well as the occasional watching movies or Netflix.

GPU and Powersuply: GPU are two HIS 6850 IceQ X Turbo. PSU, I do not know the brand off hand but it is a 950W PSU. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161363 - GPU

Other PC Spec: CPU - Intel i5 2500K with Corsair H90. Mobo is a low end Asus board (will try and provide model later today). 16 gigs of ram, Kindgston HyperX with cooling fan. Case is an Antec DF-30 http://store.antec.com/Product/darkFleet/df-30/0-761345-15230-3.aspx Case has window 120mm window fan.

Parts Website: Newegg or Amazon, suggestions are always welcome.

Overcloking: Maybe in the future. I would prefer a single card this time around and do not plan on any crossfire in the future.

Monitor Resolution: 1920X1200 - LG IPS 24 inch monitor. I will probably be switching it out for a 32 inch Samsung UN32F5500.

Additional comments: Would prefer none reference cooler. I am not opposed to switching to Nvidia for a card. I was considering getting a PS4 but instead have decided to upgrade my video card and am looking for suggestions. I have read the Tomshardware GPU monthly guide, but am wanting real world advice from users so I do not bottleneck my system. I would like to run games on Ultra or as close as possible within my price range. I would like to run current and upcoming games on ultra.

Thank you for your assistance in advance.

I noticed yesterday in looking at my case that I am limited to a certain graphics card size which is: 11.5"/292 mm

I was hoping to put in a AMD R9 290 but now may have to look at getting a Nvidia 770. Any suggestions for both these cards? Would I be better off getting a AMD 280X? Or should I shell out for a Nvidia 780 instead of a 770?
