Hi.
I've just tried to upgrade my Gateway (EC19C) notebook to 8G RAM, I have 2 slots for RAM, I previously had just 1 slot with 2G RAM.
After properly installing the RAMs (ADATA DDR3 1333 4G) my PC cannot boot Windows. I´ve tried upgrading to the latest BIOS version, making combinations with my previous 2G RAM and the new one, also switching from slots... I'm totally sure I've installed them correctly. Thanks for your help.

This are my specs:
-OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits.
-Intel i3 CPU u330 1.20,ghZ, 1199 mHZ.
-BIOS- iNSYDE V1.20

Welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums!

Identify what motherboard you have in the computer. The check the memory specs on that motherboard. Make sure that the RAM you are trying to use complies with the motherboard memory specs. Insert just one RAM module of the correct specs and try starting the computer.

If the computer does not boot, try using the other RAM module. (It is possible that the modules are bad).

Also check beep codes for your computer. It will identify what the problem is.
