I just built a new computer using the Asrock H81M LGA1150 motherboard. I installed the Gigabyte Gefore GTX 770 2 GB video card as my GPU. Everything is connected, and the system turns on, but I can't get a signal to go to my monitor. The monitor is an LG IPS LED monitor, and everytime I hook it up, it fails to find a signal. I've been messing around with it for over two hours, and I'm out of ideas.

my first response would be to ensure that the GPU is fully seated into the PCI-E x16 slot. Also, is your GPU seated into the first PCI-E x16 slot (closest to the CPU)?
