HI all, Ive been thinking recently that im going to buy a new gpu, and I have decided to get the gtx 660. However, I am not sure if this gpu will force to upgrade in another few months to a year or whether it will do for a long time. Also, will it be compatible with a asrock 960gm-vgs3 fx mobo and a amd fx6300 cpu.
One last thing, if I have a 500 watt power supply, will I be able to run a gtx 760, as it requires a 500 watt psu but I am not sure if the psu may be a little lower than what it says it is and so dosent work if that makes sense. Thanks for answering, ChickenNoodleSoup

It would help us answer your question if you told us what you plan to do / play with your system.

Since a GTX 660 is a middling tier graphics card from a previous generation, you should be able to play modern games at middling settings, but certainly not max settings at max framerates.
