Looking for the most cost effective way of upgrading my pc.
Reason, games like Arma 2, Arma 3, Dayz SA give me low fps tried multiple settings still not satisfied, (most other games run at a decent standard but the odd game is a bit ify) Have all the latest video driver updates etc, What's the best move for me if I'm wanting to keep fps at least 30-40+ for the Arma games and others like it? Would an OC of the fx 6300 Be hugely beneficial to Arma?
Been stressing about this for weeks don't know what i should do, even thought about getting an intel motherboard and starting over i'm hoping there's another Alternative,
Full Pc Specs:

Win 7 Home Premium
Powercolor r9 270x 2gb OC Edition
Fx 6300 Stock 3.5ghz,(3.8ghz Turbo)
Ballistix 8gb (1600 Ram Speed)
1 TB Western Digital WD10EZEX
650W Power Supply

A response would be most appreciated thank you :D

An Fx 6300 + a r9 270x should run these games pretty well but I'm not sure how much of an increase an oc 6300 will benefit the fame times.

An oc will always help in frames but i don't have specific results for an oc 6300's benchmarks. Doing a little research an r9 270x runs Arma 3 at ultra high with 35fps. This test ued an intel rig so im not sure how well it should perform with the fx 6300
