Will this build handle Battlefield, Minecraft and Crysis at decent settings with smooth FPS? I also need a monitor.

Solution

go with this. this build is much better..yes it has windows 7 because windows 8 was too damn expensive and windows 7 still has good support from every community...

Am I right in saying you only changed the video card and that everything else in the build is fine? And could you give me reasoning as to why you did so? Could you also suggest a monitor? Thanks!

Could you tell me how it's a better build, please? Also, you've left £45 for a monitor? Plus the case is £50. And I want windows 8.

first i5 4440 is a better performer than fx 6300 (http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4440-vs-AMD-FX-6300)
second gtx 760 is wayy better than r7 260x(http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R7-260X-vs-GeForce-GTX-760)

so better components mean you can play games at higher settings at higher resolutions for more years to come

But would the build I linked still play those games - as that is what I asked.

Also, you're still forgetting about the case, monitor and windows 8.

you need a monitor in this budget with that case...its difficult..well go with this monitor
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/acer-monitor-h236hlbmjd

second dont buy windows. get a pirated version from piratesbay or isohunt...use it for some time. when you save some money go for original copy of windows.
third, change your case...its f** expensive...choose from one of these

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-200r
4. you can change the psu, get this( its also good)
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10500kr

dude try to save as much as possible...dont waste on looks or designs....watch $1000 builds on youtube for a better idea

That's why I went with a r7 260x and an fx6300 - to save.

But if the intel and Nvidia route is better and then I'll opt for the 200R I'll do that.

Thanks.

mantle is not supported by every game secondly, nvidia just introduced new drivers 337.50 which should boost the performance even more..if he can stretch his budget id say go for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125515
