Want my contacts & calendar above my mailbox folderlist

My Outlook used to have my contacts & calendar directly above my inbox mail. Now I have to click on contacts at bottom & the view is different. I have 2 problems here actually: how do I get my contacts & calendar back to being above my inbox mail & how do I retrieve deleted contacts? They aren't in the deleted folder.

At the bottom-left of the main Outlook window, click the middle folder icon which has tooltip lable of "Folder list".

To restore deleted Contacts which are not in "Deleted Items" you can only restore them from a PST file backup (if you bothered to back it up of course). Otherwise they are not recoverable.
